When I met with Michelle, she was so chill and laidback and her wedding had a very similar vibe. She is such a caring woman, and I just knew I'd get some amazing photographs of her wedding to Daniel.

Michelle and Daniel were married on an incredibly hot day. It was 40 degrees! Would you believe though (and I'm always in awe when this kind of thing happens), a small sun shower sent a short mist down just as Michelle started walking down the aisle.

Michelle and Daniel were married in the Memorial Gardens in Tanunda. It's a gorgeous spot, with a creek, bridge and gorgeous gum trees. Such a stunning shot. We then took some bridal party photos at the old Tanunda Railway Station. It's no longer in use and has such a cool, rustic vibe. Their reception was then held at the Vine Inn in Tanunda.

Michelle and Daniel have a blended family, and it was so sweet of them to have their children as their bridal party, with their grandchildren also involved as flower girls and page boys.

The day was absolutely full of love and support. I had the best time.

Congratulations Michelle and Daniel!

One of the most beautiful things about being a photographer, is that quite often I'll work with a client for their wedding, and then I'll get to take photos of their family as it grows.

How special it is to develop that relationship is not lost on me.

Ashlea and Kane were married last year in Hahndorf, South Australia. Their wedding was gorgeous, held by a lake over a rolling hill. Their two gorgeous girls were present with them, and Ashlea let me know that they were expecting a baby boy. They even did a surprise gender reveal during the reception. The guests couldn't have been more ecstatic, celebrating not only a new marriage, but a new life.

Ashlea and Kane's son Levi, was in a hurry to get earthside, being born quite premature. In fact, we were planning Ashlea's maternity shoot when Levi decided to join the party.

As a parent myself, I can imagine how much worry came along with that little bundle. Ashlea and Kane have been so strong through this whole time, and it was such an honour to photograph Levi upon his return home.

When I'm taking photos of tiny baby hands and feet, I can't help but reflect on how quickly my own girls have grown. The time that they are small is so fleeting, and cementing these moments in photo form is so important.

Little Levi is doing so well from what I hear. He's so lucky to have such strong parents and a fighting spirit.

A few months ago, I had the opportunity to head in to the Adelaide hills to help Charm celebrate her 40th Birthday with her favourite friends. The theme? Witch. We were recreating that vampy, witchy vibe on a beautiful property. There was a small field that we played in, with big, beautiful trees. The weather was a little cold, and that really leant itself to the vibe. The women were all a little apprehensive about having their photo taken, with one person telling me about how much they hated their wedding photos. I reassured them that they looked amazing and that we will make these photos something gorgeous.

When I delivered the gallery, Charm told me that her friends LOVED the gallery and even wanted to book me for a boudoir shoot in the future! How amazing- this is the part of this job that makes me smile with joy. Knowing that I have helped other women have a positive experience in front of the camera, and love what they see in their photos.

Because all women are gorgeous. I won't hear otherwise.

This was such a fun time. Love a good theme.
